Job Title: Curriculum Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and evaluating our educational programs. You will work closely with our instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of our students and aligns with the latest educational standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and educational trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to design and develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities.
• Conduct thorough research on educational trends, best practices, and standards to inform curriculum development.
• Evaluate and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
• Develop and maintain curriculum maps and alignment documents to ensure that curriculum is aligned with educational standards.
• Lead training sessions and workshops for teachers on curriculum implementation and instructional strategies.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other curriculum specialists to ensure consistency and coherence across all educational programs.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate them into curriculum development when appropriate.
• Participate in curriculum meetings and provide insights and recommendations for curriculum improvement.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and educational standards.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
• Experience in leading training sessions and workshops.
