Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver course materials for undergraduate and graduate level engineering courses
Utilize a variety of teaching techniques, including lectures, hands-on activities, and group projects to engage students and promote active learning
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their assignments and exams
Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals
Collaborate with other faculty members to develop new courses and update existing curriculum
Stay updated on advancements and best practices in engineering education and incorporate them into teaching methods
Participate in departmental and university committees and events as required
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information
Assist with the development and implementation of online learning materials and resources

Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level
Strong knowledge and expertise in one or more engineering disciplines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Experience with curriculum development and course design
Familiarity with various teaching technologies and online learning platforms
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds
