Job Title: Databricks Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Databricks Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Databricks Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data platform using Databricks. You will work closely with our data scientists, data analysts, and other engineering teams to build and optimize our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our Databricks platform, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to understand their requirements and implement solutions.
• Optimize and tune Databricks jobs to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Databricks jobs and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automated processes for data quality and monitoring.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging Databricks technologies and best practices to continuously improve our data platform.
• Document and communicate technical solutions and processes to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Databricks Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
• Strong experience in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
