Job Title: Fruit Production Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fruit Production Manager to join our team. As the Fruit Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fruit production, from planning and planting to harvesting and packaging. You will be responsible for managing a team of growers, ensuring that all production processes are running efficiently and effectively to meet our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans for various fruit crops, including apples, oranges, and berries.
• Manage a team of growers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful production.
• Oversee all aspects of fruit production, including planting, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
• Monitor crop health and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal growth and yield.
• Maintain accurate production records and provide regular reports to upper management.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure production meets customer demands and market trends.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage budgets and expenses related to fruit production, ensuring cost-effective practices are followed.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve production processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fruit production management.
• Strong knowledge of fruit crops, including planting, growing, and harvesting techniques.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
• Knowledge of safety and quality control protocols.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
