Position: Petroleum Geologist

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Geologist to join our dynamic team. As a Petroleum Geologist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geological data to identify potential oil and gas reserves. You will play a crucial role in the exploration and production of oil and gas resources, utilizing your expertise to make informed decisions and recommendations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough geological research and analysis to identify potential oil and gas reserves
• Utilize advanced geological software and tools to interpret data and map geological formations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement exploration and production strategies
• Conduct field trips and site visits to collect samples and gather data for analysis
• Evaluate drilling and well data to determine the quality and quantity of oil and gas reserves
• Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to management and clients
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance exploration and production methods
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Petroleum Geologist in the oil and gas industry
• Extensive knowledge of geological software and tools, such as Petrel, GeoGraphix, and Kingdom
• Strong understanding of geological principles and processes related to petroleum exploration and production
• Proven track record of successful exploration and development projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to remote locations for fieldwork as needed
