Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the packaging department, including coordinating and assigning tasks to team members, monitoring productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and implement packaging procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency in packaging processes.
Train and mentor packaging team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
Conduct regular inspections of packaging equipment and machinery to identify and report any issues or malfunctions and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure timely and accurate packaging of products according to specifications.
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment of packaging materials.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure packaging meets company standards and customer requirements.
Create and maintain packaging records and reports, including production numbers, inventory levels, and quality control measures.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to packaging team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
Continuously look for ways to improve packaging processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals and objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
In-depth knowledge of packaging processes and procedures, including quality control and safety regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with packaging software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
