Title: Digital Printing Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Printing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for print production and be well-versed in digital printing technologies. As a Digital Printing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the digital printing process, from file preparation to final production. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare print files for digital printing, ensuring that they are accurate and meet all quality standards
• Operate and maintain digital printing equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues
• Monitor and adjust print settings to ensure optimal print quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure that print materials meet client expectations and brand standards
• Maintain an organized inventory of printing materials and supplies, and place orders as needed
• Ensure that all printed materials are properly finished and packaged for delivery to clients
• Evaluate and improve printing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Stay updated on the latest digital printing technologies, trends, and techniques
• Train and mentor junior team members on digital printing processes and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in printing technology, graphic design, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in digital printing, preferably in a fast-paced print production environment
• Strong technical knowledge of digital printing equipment and software, including Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to catch and correct errors in print files
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with large format printing and variable data printing is a plus
• Knowledge of color management and prepress processes is a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when needed
