Key Responsibilities:

Perform various types of welding including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Inspect and measure materials to be welded and select appropriate welding methods
Operate welding equipment and tools, such as torches, grinders, and plasma cutters
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding specifications
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure welded components meet required standards
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with welding equipment and tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols and guidelines
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting
Strong understanding of welding principles and techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Proficient in the use of various welding tools and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding equipment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and in various weather conditions
Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines
Excellent time management and organizational skills
