Position: Loss Prevention Agent

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Agent to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Agent, you will play a critical role in protecting the company's assets and reducing financial losses due to theft, fraud, and other criminal activities. Your main responsibility will be to identify and investigate potential risks and take necessary measures to prevent them from occurring. You will work closely with store associates, law enforcement agencies, and other Loss Prevention team members to ensure the safety and security of our company's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the store premises to identify any suspicious activities or behaviors that may lead to theft or fraud.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems to detect and prevent theft, fraud, or other criminal activities.
• Conduct thorough investigations of any reported incidents, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and writing detailed reports.
• Collaborate with store management and other Loss Prevention team members to identify and implement effective security measures to prevent potential risks.
• Train and educate store associates on how to identify and report potential risks and suspicious behaviors.
• Work closely with law enforcement agencies to provide them with necessary information and evidence to assist in their investigations.
• Conduct audits and inventory checks to identify any discrepancies and take necessary actions to address them.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all incidents, investigations, and other relevant information.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in loss prevention and implement them to improve the overall security of the store.
• Identify and analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to reduce losses.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement.
• Knowledge of security systems, surveillance cameras, and other related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks and suspicious behaviors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
