Job Title: Dairy Processing Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dairy Processing Technician to join our team. As a Dairy Processing Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and packaging of various dairy products. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, as well as the ability to operate and maintain various processing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the dairy industry, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor processing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production of dairy products.
• Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of processing equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent contamination.
• Understand and follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or issues to the production supervisor.
• Maintain accurate production records, including batch numbers, weights, and ingredient measurements.
• Assist in the development of new products and processes, including conducting trial runs and taste tests.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve production processes.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in food science or dairy processing is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the dairy industry, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot various processing equipment, such as pasteurizers, separators, and homogenizers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks on products and ingredients.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members and effectively communicate any issues or concerns.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as production demands.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a cold and wet environment.
