Role Overview: As a Credit and Collections Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our company by managing the credit and collections process. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate collections of outstanding payments while maintaining positive relationships with clients. You will work closely with the finance and sales teams to monitor and analyze credit data and make recommendations for credit limits and payment terms. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing collection strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the credit and collections process from start to finish, including credit evaluations, setting credit limits, and collecting outstanding payments.
• Monitor and analyze credit data to identify potential risks and make recommendations for credit limits and payment terms.
• Communicate with clients to ensure timely and accurate payments, and resolve any payment disputes or issues.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
• Work closely with the finance and sales teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date credit information is maintained.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on credit and collections activities to management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to credit and collections.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably in a financial services setting.
• Strong knowledge of credit and collections principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with credit and collections software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
