Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and implement data systems that meet the organization's needs
Monitor and maintain the performance and security of data systems
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors that arise in data systems
Develop and maintain data quality standards and procedures
Create and maintain data dictionaries and data flow diagrams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data systems
Develop and implement data migration plans when necessary
Identify and recommend new technologies and strategies to improve data systems
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data systems
Train and support users on data systems and ensure proper usage
Document all processes, procedures, and changes related to data systems
Conduct regular data audits to identify and address any data integrity issues
Develop and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans
Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
Participate in data governance meetings and contribute to data governance initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data systems management
Strong knowledge of database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Proficient in SQL and other programming languages
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Familiarity with data modeling and data governance concepts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of successfully managing and maintaining data systems
Experience in project management is a plus
