Position: Fruit Harvesting Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fruit Harvesting Operations Manager to join our team. As a leader in the agriculture industry, our company specializes in growing and harvesting a variety of fruits. The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the fruit harvesting process, from planning and scheduling to managing a team and ensuring quality control. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the harvesting process and improve efficiency
• Create and maintain a harvesting schedule to ensure timely and efficient harvesting of all fruits
• Manage a team of harvesting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and quality control
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other departments, such as farming and packaging, to coordinate and streamline operations
• Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Monitor and track harvesting costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in harvesting techniques and equipment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, operations management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fruit harvesting operations management
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful harvesting strategies
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment and maintenance procedures
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
