Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications equipment and systems. This includes, but is not limited to, telephone systems, internet connections, cable television, and wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems, including landline and wireless telephone systems, internet connections, cable television, and wireless networks
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with telecommunications equipment and systems
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems
• Test and evaluate new equipment and systems to ensure compatibility and functionality
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop solutions for complex technical issues
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and end-users
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations while on the job
• Travel to various locations to install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide excellent service and resolve issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems, equipment, and protocols
• Familiarity with network cabling and wiring
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
