Key Responsibilities:

Lead weekly youth group meetings, providing engaging and relevant teachings that align with biblical principles
Plan and coordinate special events, retreats, and mission trips for the youth community
Build meaningful relationships with youth and their families, providing guidance and support as needed
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of volunteers to assist with youth ministry programs
Collaborate with church leadership to develop and implement a long-term vision and strategy for youth ministry
Stay up-to-date with current youth culture, trends, and challenges in order to effectively connect with and minister to youth
Provide pastoral care and counseling to youth and their families, as needed
Act as a positive role model and spiritual guide for the youth community
Work closely with other church staff members to ensure a unified approach to ministry and programming

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth ministry leadership
Strong understanding of biblical teachings and the ability to effectively communicate them to youth
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and relate to youth of all ages
Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers
Knowledge of current youth culture and trends
Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and church leadership
Passion for youth ministry and a heart for mentoring and discipling young people
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
