Position: Marine Production Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Marine Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our marine production operations. This is a key leadership role within our company, responsible for managing the production process from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine production and management, with a proven track record of success in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of marine production, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that all production processes are carried out in accordance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices and terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Monitor production progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Manage production budgets and timelines, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Utilize data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements, implementing new technologies and processes as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine production, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of marine production processes, including welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Sound understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in the marine industry.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel as needed.
