Job Title: Facilities Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of our company's facilities. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. You will also be responsible for managing a team of maintenance and custodial staff to ensure that our facilities are always in top condition. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong background in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities
• Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including scheduling and supervising maintenance and custodial staff
• Create and manage budgets for facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for facility-related services
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues
• Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans for all facilities
• Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and IT, to ensure all facilities are meeting the needs of employees
• Investigate and resolve any complaints or issues related to facilities from employees or visitors
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for improvement to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems
• Experience managing a team of maintenance and custodial staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in using computer programs and software related to facilities management
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed
