Job Description:

• As a Glass Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass products such as windows, doors, shower enclosures, mirrors, and other custom glass solutions. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: - Performing on-site measurements and assessments to determine the scope of work and materials needed for each project
• Cutting, shaping, and installing glass according to specifications using various tools and equipment
• Removing and replacing damaged or broken glass panels, frames, and hardware
• Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicating with clients to provide updates on project timelines and address any concerns or questions they may have
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
• Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during a project
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the glass and glazing industry
• Strong knowledge of glass installation, repair, and maintenance techniques
• Skilled in using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and install glass
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work at heights
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to project sites as needed.
