Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of curriculum materials for our educational programs. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other members of the curriculum development team to create engaging and effective learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of curriculum needs and requirements, taking into consideration industry trends, best practices, and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and gather relevant content and ensure accuracy and alignment with learning goals.
• Design and develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and multimedia resources.
• Utilize instructional design principles and methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with current standards.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of curriculum materials.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in education, technology, and instructional design to incorporate innovative and effective teaching methods into curriculum development.
• Work closely with other members of the curriculum development team to ensure timely completion of projects and alignment of materials.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to provide support and input on curriculum-related initiatives.
• Conduct training and workshops for teachers and other educators on effective implementation of curriculum materials.
• Participate in curriculum-related meetings and provide input on program updates and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
• Proficiency in using technology and instructional design tools, such as Learning Management Systems, authoring software, multimedia programs, etc.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and commitment to creating effective and engaging learning experiences.
