Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive and static visualizations using various tools and techniques such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, etc.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency in visualizations
• Conduct research and stay updated with the latest data visualization trends and best practices
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to improve their visualization skills
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable visualization templates for future use
• Present complex data insights in a simplified and visually appealing manner to various stakeholders
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and usability of existing visualizations
• Collaborate with data scientists to incorporate advanced statistical methods and algorithms into visualizations
• Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure compliance with data privacy and security guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data visualization, preferably in a leadership role
• Expertise in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, etc.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and statistical methods
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
• Experience with data manipulation and transformation techniques
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex data in a simple and understandable manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations
• Experience in leading a team and providing mentorship is a plus.
