Position: Worship Leader

Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Worship Leader to join our team. As a Worship Leader, you will play a vital role in leading our congregation in worship and creating a meaningful and uplifting experience for our community. This is a full-time position that requires a deep understanding and appreciation for music, as well as the ability to connect with and inspire others through worship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of our worship services, including selecting songs, creating setlists, and rehearsing with the worship team
• Create an atmosphere of worship by selecting songs that align with the message and theme of the service
• Lead the congregation in singing and praise during services, utilizing your vocal and instrumental skills
• Develop and mentor members of the worship team, providing guidance and support in their musical and spiritual growth
• Collaborate with other members of the pastoral team to plan and execute special services and events
• Stay current with trends and developments in worship music, incorporating new songs and styles into our services
• Work closely with the audio/visual team to ensure the technical aspects of worship are seamless and enhance the overall experience
• Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere during worship, making all members of the congregation feel valued and connected
• Foster a culture of excellence in worship, continuously seeking ways to improve and enhance the worship experience for our community

Qualifications:

• A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for leading others in worship
• A deep understanding and appreciation for a variety of musical styles, including contemporary, traditional, and hymns
• Proficient in playing at least one instrument, such as guitar, piano, or drums
• Strong vocal abilities and the ability to lead and harmonize with a team
• Previous experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire others
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and handle multiple tasks with ease
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• A commitment to personal and spiritual growth
• Willingness to adhere to the values and beliefs of our church community
