Job Title: Packaging Line Technician

Position Overview: As a Packaging Line Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our packaging line. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the equipment used in the packaging process. This includes troubleshooting any issues that may arise and performing routine maintenance to keep the equipment in optimal condition. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in producing high-quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare packaging equipment for each production run according to specifications
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production, such as jams or malfunctions
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
• Maintain accurate records of production and equipment maintenance activities
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and ensure product quality
• Communicate any equipment or production issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Continuously look for ways to improve production processes and suggest changes to increase efficiency and quality

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus
• 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Familiarity with packaging equipment and production processes
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed
