Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions
Develop and implement data warehouse and database solutions
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data processing pipeline
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve any issues
Perform data integration and data modeling tasks
Optimize data flow and performance to support business requirements
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data standards, and data governance policies
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing and ETL tools
Strong understanding of database design, data structures, and data modeling concepts
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
