Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Grocery Store Manager to join our team. As a Grocery Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be in charge of managing a team of employees, handling inventory and stock, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the grocery store, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and inventory control.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise a team of employees to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering products as needed and ensuring that shelves are fully stocked at all times.
• Create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve store profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for purchasing products.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Monitor and analyze sales and financial reports to identify trends and make necessary adjustments to meet sales goals.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management position in a grocery store or retail environment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and increasing profitability.
• Knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
