Anhui University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Professor of Education to join our esteemed faculty. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of education. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service.As an Assistant Professor of Education, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of education. You will also be expected to conduct research and contribute to the academic community through publications, presentations, and other scholarly activities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to mentor and advise students, serve on committees, and participate in various departmental and university-wide initiatives.The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, with a focus on Education or a related field. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. The ideal candidate will also have experience in curriculum development and assessment, as well as a record of scholarly publications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of education, including the related cources
• Conduct research and publish in reputable academic journals
• Mentor and advise students, both academically and professionally
• Serve on departmental and university committees
• Develop and assess curriculum in line with industry standards and best practices
• Participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives and events
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of current trends and developments in the field of education
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
• Attend and present at conferences and other professional development opportunities as needed

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Education or a related field
• Experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
• A record of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals
• Knowledge and expertise in Education or a related field
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity in education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment is preferred
• Active involvement in professional organizations is desirable
