Introduction: Crestwood Tech Academy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and evaluating our curriculum to ensure that it aligns with our educational goals and meets the needs of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and has a strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to design and develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and activities.
• Ensure that the curriculum is aligned with state and national standards, as well as the school's educational objectives.
• Conduct ongoing research and analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in curriculum design and instructional methods.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing the curriculum and utilizing instructional materials effectively.
• Develop and implement professional development programs for teachers to enhance their understanding and implementation of the curriculum.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as technology and special education, to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of all students.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through data analysis and student assessments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as textbook publishers and educational organizations, to stay informed about new resources and opportunities.
• Participate in curriculum planning meetings and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and technology to enhance the curriculum and instructional methods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Knowledge of educational standards and best practices in curriculum development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and curriculum design software.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience in delivering professional development sessions is preferred.
