Job Title: Semiconductor Packaging Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semiconductor Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a Semiconductor Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing packaging solutions for our semiconductor products. You will work closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure the successful production and delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop packaging solutions for semiconductor products, including designing, prototyping, and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product specifications and requirements.
• Conduct research and stay updated on new packaging technologies and materials.
• Optimize packaging designs for cost, reliability, and performance.
• Create packaging specifications and documentation for production.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure packaging designs can be efficiently produced.
• Perform testing and analysis on packaging designs to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and provide solutions to improve product quality.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure packaging meets industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source necessary materials and components for packaging.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to provide updates on packaging projects and discuss potential improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor packaging design and development.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for semiconductor packaging.
• Prior experience in project management is desirable.
