Position: Data Technical Program Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Data Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our data programs, including data infrastructure, data governance, data analysis, and data quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and technical expertise, along with excellent project management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the overall data program strategy, including goals, timelines, and resources
• Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to drive the development of data infrastructure, tools, and processes
• Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop data solutions that meet their requirements
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline
• Monitor and track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data services
• Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of data programs and initiatives
• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years of experience in a technical program management role
• Strong knowledge of data management principles, techniques, and best practices
• Familiarity with data engineering and data analysis tools and technologies
• Proven experience in managing complex data projects and programs, from planning to delivery
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus
• PMP or other project management certifications are a plus
