Job Title: Science Education Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Science Education Specialist to join our team. As a Science Education Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative and effective educational programs to enhance the learning and understanding of science concepts for students of all ages. This role requires a strong background in science education, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a dedication to promoting scientific literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs to promote scientific literacy and enhance students' understanding of science concepts.
• Collaborate with teachers, curriculum specialists, and other educators to create engaging and interactive lesson plans and activities.
• Conduct research and stay updated on current trends and advancements in science education to continuously improve and enhance educational programs.
• Create and design instructional materials, including multimedia resources, to support and enhance learning in the classroom.
• Provide training and support to teachers and other educators on the implementation of science education programs.
• Collaborate with community organizations and partners to develop and implement science education outreach programs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvements.
• Attend and present at conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to share knowledge and best practices in science education.
• Stay updated on state and national science standards and ensure educational programs align with these standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in science education, curriculum development, or related field.
• Strong understanding of current science education theories, methods, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in using technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for promoting scientific literacy and making science education accessible and engaging for all students.
