Job Title: Print Quality Control Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Print Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Print Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all printed materials produced by our company. Your main goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the best quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular quality checks on all printed materials, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, and packaging materials
• Inspect materials for accuracy, consistency, and color quality using various tools and equipment such as color spectrophotometers, densitometers, and colorimeters
• Monitor the printing process, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the printing equipment, such as malfunctions, jams, or low ink levels
• Collaborate with production and design teams to resolve any quality or design issues and ensure timely delivery of finished products
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control checks and communicate any findings to the appropriate parties
• Train and mentor new technicians on quality control procedures and standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in printing technology
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in printing technology is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in print quality control or a related field
• Strong knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment
• Familiarity with color theory and color management systems
• Proficient in using quality control tools and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evening or weekend shifts, if needed
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
