Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing curriculum and instructional materials to enhance the learning experience of our students. You will work closely with our instructional team to ensure that our curriculum aligns with industry standards and meets the needs of our diverse student population.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop high-quality curriculum materials that align with learning objectives and meet the needs of our students.
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify best practices and industry standards for curriculum development.
• Design and develop engaging and interactive instructional materials, such as lesson plans, activities, assessments, and multimedia resources.
• Utilize various instructional methods and techniques to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Evaluate and revise curriculum based on feedback from instructors, students, and industry professionals.
• Develop and maintain a curriculum development schedule and ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in instructional technology and incorporate them into curriculum development.
• Collaborate with instructional team to provide training and support on new curriculum materials and instructional methods.
• Participate in curriculum review meetings and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are accessible to students with diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of curriculum development process and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting.
• In-depth knowledge of curriculum development principles, theories, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Experience with technology-based instructional design and development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Knowledge of diverse learning styles and needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and instructional design software.
• Experience with project management and curriculum management systems is a plus.
