Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and passionate Education Coordinator to join our team in the field of Atmospheric Sciences. As the Education Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing educational programs and initiatives to increase public understanding and awareness of atmospheric sciences and its impact on our environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team of atmospheric scientists to develop educational programs and materials that align with our organization's mission and goals.
• Create and maintain relationships with educators, schools, and community organizations to promote our educational programs and initiatives.
• Plan and organize a variety of educational events, including workshops, seminars, and webinars, to engage students and the general public in learning about atmospheric sciences.
• Develop and oversee the production of educational materials, such as lesson plans, presentations, and visual aids, to support our programs and initiatives.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in atmospheric sciences to ensure the accuracy and relevance of our educational materials.
• Collaborate with our marketing team to promote our educational programs and events through various channels, such as social media, newsletters, and press releases.
• Coordinate and manage volunteers and interns to support our educational programs and events.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of our educational programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and manage budgets for educational programs and events.
• Maintain accurate records and data on program attendance, feedback, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences, Education, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the field of atmospheric sciences or environmental education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience in developing and delivering educational materials and programs.
• Knowledge of current trends and developments in atmospheric sciences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
