Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm. As the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the farm, from planning and production to staff management and budgeting. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement farm plans and strategies to ensure maximum productivity and profitability
• Oversee all farming operations including crop production, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and harvesting
• Monitor and maintain farm equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition
• Manage and train a team of farm workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective work practices
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
• Create and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
• Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to farming practices to mitigate potential risks
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management, preferably in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop production, and farm machinery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends, during peak seasons
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and farm management software
