Job Overview: As a Philanthropy Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by managing and coordinating various fundraising efforts and initiatives. You will work closely with the Philanthropy Manager to plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and campaigns, as well as build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors. Your passion for philanthropy and exceptional organizational skills will help us achieve our fundraising goals and make a positive impact on society.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Philanthropy Manager to develop and implement an annual fundraising plan.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, budgeting, and marketing.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
• Coordinate and track donor communications, including thank-you letters and tax receipts.
• Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Research and identify potential grant opportunities and assist with grant writing.
• Collaborate with other departments to create impactful fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
• Monitor and report on fundraising progress and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners to enhance fundraising efforts.
• Assist with volunteer recruitment and coordination for fundraising events.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in philanthropy and fundraising.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising or philanthropy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor management software.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles, strategies, and techniques.
• Passion for philanthropy and making a positive impact in society.
