Job Title: Infrastructure Systems Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure and providing technical support to our internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including servers, network devices, and operating systems.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for managing and securing our IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and address any vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
• Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting with system upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of new technologies with existing systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and changes.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve the overall performance and security of our IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration, preferably in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficient in scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and securing complex IT infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as MCSA, MCSE, or CCNA, are a plus.
