Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Building Services Director to join our dynamic team. As the Building Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and operation of all building systems within our organization. This includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building services and possess excellent leadership skills to effectively manage a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and operation of all building systems.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building services department, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.
• Manage a team of professionals, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
• Monitor and analyze building systems data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to building systems.
• Develop and manage the department budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure the longevity and efficiency of all building systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to address any building services related issues and provide solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in building services to continuously improve department operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management or related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in building services management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a team and delivering results.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and others.
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements related to building services.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in computer applications related to building services management.
