Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dairy Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Dairy Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dairy operations, including managing staff, maintaining quality control, and ensuring the efficient production and distribution of dairy products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dairy farming and a proven track record of successful leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily operations of the dairy farm, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Manage and supervise a team of dairy workers, providing direction and support to ensure their success and productivity.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of dairy products, ordering supplies as needed to meet production demands.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the high quality and safety of all dairy products.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication between all aspects of the dairy operations.
• Train and mentor new employees and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise in the dairy operations and implement solutions to overcome them.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to continuously improve operations and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Dairy Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in dairy farming operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of dairy farming practices, herd management, and milk production.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and food safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
