Job Title: Bookkeeper

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as experience in bookkeeping and record-keeping. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain financial data into accounting software
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct monthly closings and produce financial statements
• Prepare and file tax documents and reports
• Monitor and track expenses and ensure timely payments
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain and organize financial records and documents
• Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
