Position: Data Warehousing Lead

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Data Warehousing Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Data Warehousing Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development, design, and implementation of our data warehousing systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our data warehousing processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data warehousing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing processes and systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data warehousing needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain data warehousing standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor data warehousing performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and mentor a team of data warehousing professionals to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and security.
• Stay updated with the latest data warehousing technologies and trends and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Oversee data warehousing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within budget delivery.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure data warehousing systems are integrated with other enterprise systems.
• Communicate data warehousing updates, issues, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data warehousing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with data warehousing tools such as Teradata, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering data warehousing projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
• Certifications in data warehousing, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Data Warehouse Architect (CDWA), are a plus.
