Position Title: Network Security Administrator

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Network Security Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security measures to protect our network from cyber threats and unauthorized access. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and take necessary measures to mitigate them.
• Monitor network activity for any signs of malicious activity or breaches and respond promptly to any security incidents.
• Configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools to ensure the highest level of protection for our network.
• Maintain and update network security systems, including antivirus software, patch management, and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the network infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our network security posture.
• Conduct security audits and provide reports to management on the current state of network security.
• Train employees on security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and reduce the risk of human error.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security administration.
• In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, tools, and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Familiarity with network security standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
