Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate individual to join our esteemed faculty as a Professor of Education. As a Professor of Education, you will have the opportunity to shape the minds of future educators and make a significant impact in the field of education. This is a tenure-track position with a strong emphasis on teaching, research, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in education, including curriculum development, pedagogy, and educational psychology
• Develop and revise course curriculum to ensure alignment with current educational standards and best practices
• Supervise student teachers and serve as a mentor to guide their professional development
• Conduct original research in the field of education and disseminate findings through publications and presentations
• Serve on departmental and university committees to contribute to the academic community and promote the mission of the institution
• Advise and mentor students, providing academic and career guidance
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in the field of education
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary courses and initiatives
• Engage in community outreach and service projects related to education

Qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Education or a closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching at the university level
• A strong record of scholarly research and publications in the field of education
• Experience in curriculum development and program assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to teaching excellence and student success
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
