Job Title: Curriculum and Instruction Specialist

Position Overview: As a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective curriculum and instructional strategies to support the organization's educational goals. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other education professionals to design, evaluate, and revise curriculum, as well as provide guidance and support for instructional practices. Your expertise and knowledge in curriculum development and instruction will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of education provided to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and revise curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
• Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to design and implement curriculum that meets the needs of diverse student populations.
• Conduct research and stay updated on current educational trends and best practices to inform curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Provide professional development and training to teachers on curriculum implementation and instructional techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and instructional practices, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to teachers and administrators on student achievement.
• Collaborate with other Curriculum and Instruction Specialists to ensure consistency and coherence across grade levels and subject areas.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as educational consultants and organizations, to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
• Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings, committees, and initiatives to support the organization's educational goals.
• Stay updated on state and federal education policies and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development and instruction, preferably in a K-12 setting.
• In-depth knowledge of educational standards and best practices in curriculum development and instruction.
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies and techniques to support diverse student populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other education professionals.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform curriculum and instructional decisions.
• Proficient in using technology for curriculum development and instructional delivery.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
