Job Type: Contract to hire

Location:World Nexus Tech City, Tokyo, Japan

Position Overview: As an Instructional Designer and Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning solutions for our clients. You will work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other team members to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and content
• Design and develop engaging learning activities and experiences that incorporate adult learning principles
• Create instructional materials, including facilitator and participant guides, job aids, and multimedia assets
• Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes
• Utilize various instructional design methodologies and tools to create effective learning solutions
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all learning materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives
• Stay up-to-date with new instructional design strategies, technologies, and industry trends
• Communicate project updates and progress to project managers and team members
• Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and development
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
• Proficient in multimedia authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate Storyline
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences
