Position: Lead UX/UI Designer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process and ensuring that our digital products and services are user-friendly, visually appealing and meet the needs of our target audience. You will play a critical role in creating innovative and intuitive designs that enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and user requirements
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions
• Develop wireframes, mockups and prototypes to communicate design ideas
• Create and maintain design systems and guidelines to promote consistency and efficiency
• Lead the design process from concept to final product, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality designs
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve designs
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, and propose innovative design solutions
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet specifications
• Collaborate with product managers to define project timelines and prioritize tasks
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and processes
• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
• Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills
• Ability to think creatively and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Passion for user-centered design and a strong understanding of user experience principles
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
