Position: Package Courier

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Package Courier to join our team. As a Package Courier, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to our clients. The ideal candidate must have excellent time management skills, a strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
• Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely delivery of packages
• Accurately track and log all delivery information
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring packages are delivered to the correct recipient and in good condition
• Communicate any delivery delays or issues to clients in a timely manner
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and delivering packages
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all packages are delivered on time
• Handle cash and credit card transactions for package deliveries, when necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a delivery driver or courier
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with navigation systems and GPS devices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
