Position Title: Industrial Engineer

Position Overview: Our company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing our production processes, increasing efficiency, and reducing waste. You will also be involved in designing, developing, and implementing new systems, procedures, and layouts to improve our overall operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement new systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Design and layout new production lines and workstations to maximize space utilization and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and analyze production costs to identify areas for cost reduction.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor production staff on new processes and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to continuously improve our operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
