Position: Environmental Outreach Coordinator

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Environmental Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As an Environmental Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement outreach programs to educate and engage the community on environmental issues and sustainable practices
• Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and local businesses to organize events, workshops, and campaigns related to environmental awareness and sustainability
• Create educational materials such as brochures, presentations, and social media content to raise awareness about environmental issues
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current environmental policies, regulations, and initiatives
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative and effective strategies to reach a wider audience
• Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote environmental initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders
• Monitor and report on the success of outreach programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Manage the budget for outreach programs and ensure resources are utilized effectively
• Train and supervise volunteers and interns involved in outreach activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in environmental outreach, community engagement, or related field
• Strong knowledge of environmental issues and sustainability practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in event planning and organization
• Proficient in social media management and content creation
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement
