Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting customer demand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations from start to finish, including procurement, inventory management, order processing, and shipping.
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize cost and meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
• Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee the transportation of goods, including negotiating rates and contracts with carriers, scheduling shipments, and tracking deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and key performance indicators to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of managing logistics operations and improving efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
