Kocatepe University is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team of educators. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our students. Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the lead teacher to plan and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Provide one-on-one support to students who may need additional help with their studies
• Help students with assignments and projects, providing guidance and feedback as needed
• Monitor student progress and communicate any concerns to the lead teacher
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to create and administer assessments
• Assist with grading and record-keeping to track student performance
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date on educational practices
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior
• Assist with extracurricular activities and school events as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners
• Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other educational software
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from the lead teacher
