Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on computer hardware equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and determine the root cause of problems.
• Diagnose and repair hardware failures, including replacing faulty components and updating drivers.
• Install and configure new hardware equipment, including setting up networks and connecting devices.
• Keep track of inventory and ensure that all hardware is properly maintained and accounted for.
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement hardware upgrades and improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware technology and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with hardware-related inquiries.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols when handling and working with computer hardware equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or degree in computer hardware or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a computer hardware technician or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware components, including processors, memory, storage, and peripherals.
• Proficient in troubleshooting hardware issues and diagnosing problems.
• Familiarity with network setup and configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols when working with computer hardware equipment.
• Certifications in computer hardware or related fields are a plus.
